I've Never Seen a Purple Horse • Hand-painted Silk • 22" x 22" (giclee prints available)

I work in a variety of media, including hand-painted silk, coloured pencil and oil pastel. When I paint on silk, I love to explore colour and the vivacious spirit of this horse evoked the colour purple. The whimsical nature of the finished piece reminded me of the popular children's rhyme "I've never seen a purple cow..." only in this case, it's a horse!
